The Llamas of Lludlow

The Llamas of Lludlow, the artfully decorated life-size fiberglass llamas that have lined the Main Streets of Ludlow, Vermont since Memorial Day, will be auctioned on Saturday, October 9, 2004. Beginning at noon, Main Street will be hopping with activity…the Ludlow Rotary Club’s Annual Chili Fest, sidewalk sales, crafters and musicians will keep residents and visitors happily occupied. The Llama preview begins at 5 PM behind the Pot Belly Restaurant. This will be your last chance to see these amazing works of art. The auction, called by Readsboro Auctioneers, will begin at 7 pm sharp. Thirty seven llamas will go home with the high bidders. One lucky raffle winner will leave with Arco Iris, the llovely llama painted by Jiyl Y. Gilmour.
You do not need to be present to bid on the llamas (all of which may be viewed on our website:    Bidding forms and additional information are also available on line.
